Las Vegas hosts 42 million visitors per year. It was an inspiring morning learning more about the $3.9 million EDA grant and $2.1 million allocated to UNLV at the ribbon cutting for the Cultural Tourism Incubator at Nevada Partners, located in the Historic Westside. This collaborative effort with UNLV will bring opportunity, economic development, and tourism beyond the typical, e.g., cultural, medical, and sports tourism; life beyond The Strip.
GGW and G2E are invaluable for meeting new faces, reconnecting with old friends and colleagues, and growing professionally and personally. This year, I was a table host at GGW's Sip & Social featuring Keynote Speaker Anastasia Soare, founder, and CEO of @anastasiabeverlyhills. She is responsible for "brow-shaping" and demonstrated this on Oprah in 1990. She is the woman behind the Kardashian's brow perfection and a testament to hard work, believing in yourself, and perseverance that you can achieve your goals if you work hard enough. You must love it or do something else.
Congratulations to @webdivah (Anika Howard), a phenomenal woman, mentor, and honoree of the Patricia Becker Pay It Forward award last night at GGW's 12th Annual Kick Up Your Heels fundraiser ❤❤
